Consideration, discussion, and possible approval to execute a Routeware Master Sales and License Agreement with Routeware, Inc. for routing and navigation system hardware, software and support services for the Sanitation Division

Background:
The Sanitation Division has requested and sought proposals for a routing and navigation system to maximize efficiency, improve route planning, manage refuse service information, utilize GPS (global positioning system) route navigation and gather data for both fleet and and future refuse services. Twelve (12) vendors were solicited for this service and equipment, two bids were received.

The project benefits include:
* Assisting drivers and crews in maximizing route efficiency
* Improve routing capabilies for both new and seasoned drivers with driver interface and realtime GPS and route maps
* Provide route and customer account information for the driver
* Provide verification of the service performed during the route
* Obtain data that will lead to better forecasts for budgets
* Interface additional refuse service charges with our existing billing system
* Assist in identifying current and future routing and equipment needs
* Allow the division to adapt and integrate any future collection services that may be offered
* Simplify the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
* Can be added to other city vehicles

The total price for hardware, software and installation on all 20 refuse trucks is $184,045.00 ($9,202 per turck). Funds for this purchase are available from the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority Capital Fund (Project No. 116016) in the amount of $185,000. In addition to this capital purchase, monthly recurring costs for cloud hosting, data, service and support will apply.
