Consideration, discussion, and possible approval of the reappointment of Rob Whitlock to the Broken Arrow Economic Development Corporation (BAEDC) Board of Directors for a term beginning June 1, 2017 and expiring May 31, 2020

Background:
In accordance with the bylaws of the Broken Arrow Economic Development Corporation (BAEDC), the City Manager recommends the re-appointment of Mr. Rob Whitlock to the BAEDC Board of Directors. Article 2 of the BAEDC bylaws states the Corporation shall consist of nine (9) directors, three of whom shall be representatives of, selected by, and from the following entities: The Broken Arrow City Council, the Broken Arrow Board of Education, and the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee. Nominations of Directors shall be made collaboratively by the Broken Arrow City Manager, the Broken Arrow Public Schools Superintendent, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and be submitted to the Broken Arrow City Council, the Broken Arrow Public Schools’ School Board, and the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce respectively, for appointment.
Rob Whitlock is a resident of Broken Arrow and is a well-recognized business person and community leader. He has served the Board well and is willing to continue his service for the Broken Arrow Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.
