Award the most advantageous bid to Colburn Electric for the purchase of three (3) power distribution units for the Events Park
End
Background:
The Parks Department has requested and sought bids for the manufacture and supply of three power distribution units (PDU). Nine (9) suppliers were solicited to bid on this equipment, the only bid received was from Colburn Electric.
These units will be used to add additional electrical power distribution points throughout the Events Park. After the PDU’s arrive they will be installed by a licensed electrician under a separate agreement.
The total price for the three PDU’s is $41,772. Funds for this purchase are available from the 2011 General Obligation Bond Fund for the Events Park (Project No. 116016)
Cost: $41,772.00
