Background:
The Utilities Department has budgeted for the purchase of one compact rubber tracked mini excavator. This machine replaces Unit No. 0772. Funds for the purchase are available in the Departmental Capital Outlay for FY 2017. Project No. 175403.
Bid packages were sent out to fifteen (15) vendors for the supply of one compact rubber tracked mini excavator with specified accessories. Eight (8) bids were received. City staff has reviewed the bids received and identified the bid from White Star Machinery at $45,437.88 as the most advantageous bid.
Cost: $45,437.88
