Background:
The Cold Milling Asphalt Streets within the corporate limits of the City of Broken Arrow is accomplished by a non-encumbered contract. The work will be the cold milling of asphalt streets at various locations throughout the City at a unit price per square yard. Bids were advertised in March 2016 and the contract was awarded to A&A Asphalt, Inc. The bid provided for an annual contract with up to two total renewals, at the same unit prices.
Upon the mutual agreement by the City and the Contractor this contract may be renewed for another year. It is the staff’s recommendation to renew this contract for an additional year.
Cost: $269,540
