Background:

The Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group is a provider of General Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Property and Risk Management services for Oklahoma cities and towns since 1977. It is governed by a seven-member Board nominated and elected by its members. The City has been a member of OMAG since 1982. The terms of three trustees expire on June 30, 2017. Twelve individuals have been nominated to fill these three vacancies. After a review of the biographical summary, Staff recommends that the ballot be cast for Earl Burson, City Manager, City of Harrah, Roger Kolman, City Manager, City of Glenpool, Pam Polk, City Manager, City of Collinsville.

The other nominees were Janice Cain, City Manager, City of Altus, Buck Day, City Manager, City of McLoud, Camille Dowers, City Clerk and Attorney for City Manager, City of Newcastle, Clayton E. Lucas, II, City Manager, City of Sallisaw, Russ Meacham, CFO, City of Perry, Mark Skiles, City Manager, City of Clinton, Janet Smith, City Manager, City of Cresent, Daniel Tarkington, Mayor, City of Checotah, Larry Thoma, Mayor, City of Elgin, and Mark Whinnery, City Manager, City of Drumright.
