Approval of and Authorization to Execute a Second Amendment to the site Lease Agreement Between the City of Broken Arrow and Crown Castle for AT&T Wireless

End

Background:

Notice was received from Crown Castle for AT&T of their request to amend the terms of their use/lease agreement for a tower located at the City of Broken Arrow Maintenance Facility at 1700 W Detroit St.

The current terms of this lease are for approximately 2500 square feet of ground space at a monthly rate of $400.00.  This lease is a 5 year lease with three 5 year renewal options that include a 15% increase in rent per each renewal term.

The amendment allows for early renewal to the current lease with the same terms in the original lease changing the rent amount and renewal terms. With this amendment the monthly lease payment will increase to $1700.00 per month, increasing 15% for each renewal term of the lease with an option of seven additional five year renewals.
