Approval of and authorization to execute amendments to quote and System Installation Agreement with Ford Audio-Video

Background:
At the August 4th 2015 the city council approved the purchase of a video and broadcast lighting/dimming system from Ford Audio-Video. During the installation of these systems in the city council chambers some additional capabilities were requested and some equipment needed to be changed out due to unforeseen compatibility.
The items in these amendments include exchanging equipment utilized in the video production system, adding controls for confidence cameras, installation of a new countdown timer system, installation of executive session lighting outside the council chambers and adding equipment to activate the LED lights at the base of each microphone for better visual awareness to council members that the microphones are active.
The original agreement total was $182,638.24 and with these amendments the new agreement total is $193,259.59.
Cost: $ 10,621.35
