End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow applied for the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 15-16 Surface Transportation Program (STP) Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funds for design and construction of the Broken Arrow Main Street Bikeway, which is a combination of bikeways (striped bike lanes along streets), signed routes (bicycle symbols and signage to encourage vehicles and bicycles to share the road), and trails (off-street trails). The total anticipated design cost is $50,276.00.
This item is an ODOT - City of Broken Arrow agreement for our 25% share ($12,569.00) of the funding. With this ODOT agreement the City agrees to manage the ODOT A/E contract. After ODOT receives this signed agreement they will execute it along with the A/E contract with Landplan Consultants, Inc.
Funding of the local share will be from the 2014 Quality of Life GO Bond.
Cost: $12,569.00
