Background:

The owner, Robert L. and Belinda L. Cacy, have submitted an application requesting the closure of a 0.17-acre detention easement along the east side of the property. A new dedication of a detention easement is being submitted as a replacement for this closure. The new 0.19-acre detention easement shall be located on the south side of the property.

Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the detention easement closure.

The attached easement closure was previewed by the City Council on March 7, 2017.  Staff recommends the Council Adopt Ordinance No. 3476 and approve the Emergency Clause.
