Presentation and discussion of the 2016 Annual Report

Background:

For many years, the City of Broken Arrow has produced an Annual Report which provides a summary of the City’s activities for the Fiscal Year. Documentation of yearly activities is an effective method of tracking progress and ensures accountability for initiatives passed by the public.  Some of the highlights from this past year include the opening of the Rose District Water Fountain, launching a $140 million utilities capital improvement plan and turning to more sustainable methods of solid waste disposal by transporting solid waste collections to the Covanta Tulsa Renewable Energy Facility.

The 2016 Annual Report will be available to citizens on the City website, www.brokenarrowok.gov/ANNUALREPORT <http://www.brokenarrowok.gov/ANNUALREPORT>. Complimentary copies will also be available for pickup at City Hall. Both options for viewing the Annual Report will be advertised in the April issue of the FOCUS newsletter, which utility customers receive with their monthly bills.
