EBackground:
The Street and Stormwater Department requested and sought bids for a tandem roller with dual drums. Eight (8) vendors were solicited to bid on this equipment, and a total of five (5) bids were received. None of the five vendors meet specifications, but all bids were given equal consideration as to the significance of the different equipment features not meeting specifications. The OCT Equipment, 2017 Case DV26, was the selected equipment based on low bid and on minor deviation from the equipment specifications. Delivery, pricing, and warranty information are reflected in the attached bid tabulation. The bid tabulation also includes all vendors submitting bids for this equipment.
The total price for the tandem roller with dual drums is $ $33,273.00. Funds for this purchase have been appropriated and are available in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund 30 in the available amount of $65,000. (Project No. 175323, Acct. No. 030-5300-431.70-03)
