Approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Consultant Agreement with Olsson Associates for Concept Design of an Industrial Collector Street Roadway and Waterline in the vicinity of 9th Street between Houston Street and Washington Street
End
Background:
A Professional Consultant Agreement was negotiated with Olsson Associates to provide geotechnical engineering services and conceptual design services for approximately 2,700 linear feet of Industrial Collector Street and 12-inch waterline to serve an Industrial Park to be located in the vicinity of 9th Street (Lynn Lane) between Houston Street and Washington Street east of 9th Street. The exact location will be determined during the conceptual design process. Once the location is determined and the conceptual design is complete, Staff intends on amending this contract with preliminary and final design services. At present time, they are not included in the scope of services.
The Agreement is attached. Staff recommends approval of the agreement in the amount of $27,000.00. Funds for the work are available in Sales Tax Capital Improvements.
Cost: $27,000.00
