Approval of and authorization to purchase one (1) half-ton pickup truck from Bob Moore Ford, pursuant to the Oklahoma statewide vehicle contract, for the Streets and Stormwater Department
End
Background:
The Street Division of the Streets and Storm Water Department has budgeted for the purchase of one (1) half-ton crew cab pickup. This truck is an additional truck and will not replace an older truck. Funds for this purchase are available in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund in the amount of $31,000.00.
This vehicle will be purchased under the Oklahoma Statewide Contract Vehicles to include Cars, Passenger Vans, Trucks, Suv's, Cargo Vans, Police Vehicles and CNG vehicles, number SW035
All State Departments, Boards, Commissions, Agencies and Institutions, as well as Counties, School Districts and Municipalities may purchase vehicles from this contract. Pricing under this contract is good until November 14, 2017.
The bid tabulation includes the lowest bidding vendors for the all the brands of one-half ton pickups bid under this contract. Base pricing and selected options for the trucks are reflected in the attached bid tabulation. Staff recommends that the Council approve the purchase of one Ford F150 crew cab pickup from Bob Moore Ford.
