EBackground:
The Street Division requested and sought bids for a skid steer loader. Fourteen (14) vendors were solicited to bid on this equipment, and a total of nine (9) bids were received. Six of the nine vendors meet specifications. Kubota Center submitted a bid for a Kubota SVL95-2HFC meeting specifications and is low bid. Base pricing, selected options, and warranty information are reflected in the attached bid tabulation. The bid tabulation also includes all vendors submitting bids for this equipment.

The total price for the skid steer loader with selected options is $60,022.62. Base price is $57,987.32 plus $101.20 (10 additional keys) and $1,934.10 (rock bucket) for options. The options selected are reflected in the attached bid tabulation. Funds for this purchase have been appropriated and are available in the STCI Capital Improvement Fund in the available amount of $100,000. (Project No. 175324, Acct. No. 030-5300-431.70-03)

Staff recommends that Council approve and award the lowest responsible bid to Kubota Center.
