Background:
The Police Department is eligible for and is the tentative recipient of a Grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Grant Program in the total amount of $21,437.80. The funds will be used to purchase 20 automated external defibrillators and 120 vented chest seals.
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize acceptance of the grant award and approve and authorize execution of the Memorandum of Understanding.
