Acceptance of a Deed of Dedication from The William K. Warren Medical Research Center, Inc., located on the southwest corner of New Orleans Street and Aspen Avenue, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, (Section 28, T18N, R14E)
End
Background:
On May 26, 2016, the Planning Commission approved BAL 1093, a request to split 13.01 undeveloped acres into two lots. A new library is proposed to be constructed on the west tract, while the east tract will be left for commercial development. Right-of-way has been dedicated along Aspen Avenue in accordance with the Subdivision Regulations, but not along New Orleans Street. In addition, utility easements have not been dedicated along both New Orleans Street and Aspen Avenue per the Subdivision Regulations.

The Planning Commission approved BAL 1093 subject to right-of-way being dedicated along New Orleans Street between Aspen Avenue and Chestnut Avenue in accordance with the Subdivision Regulations (65 feet of right-of-way from the section line that after 350 feet from the point of intersection with Aspen Avenue transitions back at a 30-degree angle to 60 feet).

The owner, the William K. Warren Medical Research Center, Inc., have submitted an application requesting the acceptance of a deed of dedication along south side of New Orleans that provides right-of-way in accordance with the Subdivision Regulations as stipulated by the Planning Commission with the approval of BAL 1093.

Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the deed of dedication.
