Approval of bids received and award the lowest responsible bid to Bob Hurley Ford for the purchase of one (1) replacement refuse truck for the Parks Department

Background:
The Parks Department requested and sought bids for one (1) replacement refuse truck. Funds have been appropriated and are available in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement (STCI) Fund in the amount of $74,200.00.
Bids were solicited for a 2017 Ford F-350 with a Wayne Pup refuse body from fourteen (14) dealers, with two (2) dealers submitting bids. The low bid was submitted by Bob Hurley Ford in the amount of $74,144.00 and is recommended for purchase. Additional options selected are reflected in the attached bid tabulation.
Staff recommends that the Council award the lowest responsible bid to Bob Hurley Ford.
Cost: $74,144.00
