Background:
The Streets and Stormwater Department sought bids for two service trucks. Six vendors were solicited, and a total of six responded. Five of the six vendors met specifications. Bob Hurley Ford submitted a bid for a 2017 Ford F-650 meeting specifications and is lowest and most responsible bid. Base pricing and selected options for the pickup trucks are reflected in the attached bid tabulation. The bid tabulation also includes all vendors submitting bids for these trucks.
The Streets and Stormwater Department has identified the 2017 Ford F-650 service truck from Bob Hurley Ford as the vehicle best suited for their needs. Staff has reviewed the bids received and recommends awarding the lowest and most responsible bid to Bob Hurley Ford for two 2017 Ford F-650 service trucks.
The Streets and Stormwater Department has budgeted for the purchase of two 2017 Ford F-650 service trucks. Funds for this purchase are available in the BAMA Capital Outlay Fund in the amount of $170,000.00. (Project No. 175301)
