title
Approval of and authorization to purchase a video and audio system for the Development Services Conference Room from Ford Audio-Video pursuant to Oklahoma State Purchasing Contract #ITSW1021 and approval of and authorization to execute a System Installation Agreement for the purchase
End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow solicited three quotes for the purchase of a video and audio system for the Development Services Conference Room. The proposed system will provide a state of the art video and audio system for city staff. Some of the features this system will provide include a touch display wall-mounted monitor, interactive multi-media table top display system.

A request for quotes was sent to three vendors, Ford Audio-Video, Cory's AV and SKC as required by Oklahoma State Purchasing Contract #ITSW1021. Cory's AV and SKC elected not to quote the project making Ford Audio-Video's quote the only quote received.

Section 2-27 of the Broken Arrow Code allows the purchase of supplies, materials, equipment and contractual services from other units of government at a price deemed below that obtainable from private dealers without the need for formal competitive bidding. The proposed purchase from Oklahoma State Wide Contract ITSW1021 meets the criteria established by the Ordinance. Funding for this purchase is available through the Sales Tax Capital Fund.

Cost: $32,300
