Background:
Property owners, Rodney and Diana Gaulden, husband and wife, have executed the attached General Warranty Deed and Temporary Construction Easement for the 9th Street widening from Elgin Street to El Paso Street.

Payment for the Temporary Construction Easement includes a temporary construction easement over the Permanent Easement of 100 square feet, as well as an additional standalone temporary construction easement of 450 square feet.

Staff has reviewed this action and recommends approval.

Funding for this project is from 2011 General Obligation Bond Issue.

Cost: General Warranty Deed: 100 SF @ $3.00/SF = $300.00
Temporary Construction Easement: 450 SF @ 3.00/SF X 20% = $270.00
Damages = $3,180.00
Total Compensation $ 3,750.00
