Background:

HDR Engineering, Inc., made a presentation to BAMA at the May 3, 2016 meeting regarding the most effective method of renovating the Screening and Grit Removal Facilities at the Lynn Lane Wastewater Treatment Plant (LLWWTP).  The preferred solution was to construct a new Headworks facility that includes grit removal and screening in one structure.  At the meeting it was requested to design for Odor Control at this new facility.  The attached amendment is for the design of the Odor Control system for the Headworks facility, the construction of which is estimated to cost $1,400,000.

 

The HDR agreement for design of the Odor Control system is for $71,376.00.   

 

Funding for Engineering will be from BAMA Wastewater Plant budget.
