Approval of and authorization to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Consulting Services Agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc. for on-call professional services at the Verdigris Water Treatment Plant

Background:
HDR Engineering Inc. provided design and construction support services for the Verdigris Water Treatment Plant. The plant was tested, commissioned and brought on line on April 10th, 2014. Since the start up, plant staff has been contacting HDR engineers on as needed basis to discuss and seek help to resolve treatment issues centered around the pretreatment basins performance. HDR’s assistance has also been requested routinely to resolve plant equipment issues. Some issues are being resolved by phone and via email. To resolve major issues, an engineer visits the plant to identify the problem and advise staff accordingly.
The on call contract is valid for one year and extends from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 and shall not exceed $50,000.
Cost: $50,000
