END
Background:
The Haikey Creek Waste Water Treatment Center is jointly owned by the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (BAMA) and the Tulsa Municipal Utility Authority (TMUA) and is operated by the City of Tulsa. As part of the Fiscal Year 2017 Operations and Maintenance Budget, plant staff identified several pieces of equipment that have failed and are in need of replacement.
The City of Tulsa had selected Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. in FY16 for undertaking the evaluation of defective equipment, needed design improvements and to prepare specifications to bid the project. The attached Amendment No. 1 to the FY16 agreement reflects the results of negotiations with Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. with a total cost of $55,100.00 to design improvements and prepare specifications to bid the project. BAMA’s contribution towards the engineering design fee is $27,550.00.
