Background:
In an effort to provide the Authority and the Public more information with respect to our community’s water usage, the Utilities Department Staff has prepared a Total Water Supply Report that records total daily water usage produced by the Verdigris River Water Treatment plant coupled with any water purchased from the Tulsa Metropolitan Utility Authority (TMUA), as well as total water volume delivered to the community on a monthly basis.
Over the course of the first seven (7) months of the year, the City’s Maximum Day production from the plant has been 20.5 million gallons per day (MGD) recorded on June 22, 2016. The Average Day usage in the system for the month of July was 17.5 MGD.
Total water treated at the plant is 2,421.3 million gallons (MG). Total water purchased from Tulsa is 46 MG. For a total amount of treated water delivered to the system of 2,467.3 MG. The Annual Average Day usage in the system through the end of this recording period is 11.6 MGD.
This report will be updated on a monthly basis. Staff recommends the Authority acknowledge submittal of the Report.
