Background:
2024 marks the 23rd year of the City of Broken Arrow Youth City Council, established in June of 2001 by former Mayor Wade McCaleb. The Youth City Council represents an effort to link today's leaders with tomorrow's leaders.
Councilors Johnnie Parks and Justin Green are this year’s Youth City Council program sponsors for the 2024-2025 school year. This year we are welcoming eight (8) sophomores into the program. The sophomores will serve a three-year term. The Youth City Council members recommended for appointment during the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
