Recognition of K-9 Officer Marque Baldwin and partner Jireh for receiving The North American Police Work Dog Association’s Valor Award

Background:
On July 22, 2015, Officer Baldwin and his fellow officers responded to a homicide scene where five victims lost their lives. Officer Baldwin and partner Jireh tracked, located and apprehended the two suspects in a wooded area behind the residence. Officer Baldwin’s actions that night were honored and recognized by the nationally renowned North American Police Work Dog Association in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 24, 2016.
Staff requests that Officer Mark Baldwin and K-9 partner Jireh be recognized for receiving the prestigious Valor Award from the North American Police Work Dog Association and bringing credit to the Broken Arrow Police K-9 Unit, the Broken Arrow Police Department, and the City of Broken Arrow.
