Presentation regarding fireworks enforcement in the City of Broken Arrow for 2026

Background:

Annually, both BAPD and BAFD Fire Marshal’s Office are tasked with enforcement of city ordinances regarding the manufacture, sale, and use of fireworks.  BAPD and BAFD will present a summary of the Special Event Operation Plan for enforcement efforts on July 3rd and 4th. The presentation will also address the impact of the new state law, OKSB 1948, aka the Rockets Red Glare Act, on the City of Broken Arrow.
