title

Approval of and authorization to declare certain City owned property as surplus and authorize the sale of such property

end

Background:

The property located at 401 E Kenosha has been determined to be of no use to the City of Broken Arrow.  This property was acquired in 1996 through the process of condemnation for the Kenosha Street widening project.  There is now small portion of approximately 6500 square feet of the original property left in-tact (parcel#98411-84-11-15290) The City of Broken arrow requests to declare this property as surplus for the purpose of disposal through sale.  Staff has made efforts to reach out to Trustees of the estate of the original property owner to inform of the intent to surplus and sale this item.  Efforts have included phone calls and certified letters.
