Background:
The City of Broken Arrow issued Bid #26.154 for the purchase of aggregate materials. The bid was sent to multiple vendors, advertised in the Tulsa World, and posted on the City’s website. Bids were publicly opened on May 27, 2026.
The City received three bids-from Apac-Central, Inc., Greenhill Materials, and Anchor Stone Company. After review, staff recommends awarding Apac-Central, Inc. as the primary vendor, with Greenhill Materials and Anchor Stone Company designated as backup vendors. This will ensure material availability when needed.
Staff will use vendors based on availability and distance at the time of purchase. The cost will be charged to various funds, as this bid supports multiple City departments.
