Consideration, discussion and possible appointment of one City Council member to the Subdivision Regulation Update Committee

Background:
The City Council in their meeting of December 20, 2022, approved a budget transfer to fund the update of the City of Broken Arrow Subdivision Regulations. Staff is recommending the formation of an Advisory Panel to provide input and assist in the preparation of the Subdivision Regulation Update.
It is anticipated that this group may meet approximately 4 to 6 times, over a 6-month period. This Advisory Panel will meet only in an advisory capacity and may make recommendations and provide input. Staff’s recommendation is to appoint the following members to the panel.
1. City Council Representative
2. Planning Commission Representative
3. One person recommended by the City Manager
4. Community Development Director
5. Planning & Development Manager or Designee
6. Transportation Division Manager or Designee
7. Stormwater Division Manager or Designee
8. Fire Marshal or Designee
9. One representative of the Home Builders Association
10. One primarily residential engineering firm/developer
11. One primarily commercial engineering firm/developer
Staff is recommending nomination and appointment of a City Council member to serve on the Subdivision Regulation Update Advisory Panel.
