Background:
Universal Field Services (UFS) is the contract Right of Way agent for 23rd Street Improvements Between Houston and Kenosha Street, a federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) project. UFS has determined Rental Assistance Payment (RAP) and Moving Expenses for relocation of Charlotte and Overton Washington, tenants of a structure on Parcel 17 at 2403 East Sidney Avenue which is being acquired as a “total take” for the project. The attached package documents the RAP ($28,011.06) and Moving Expenses ($3,450.00), for a total of $31,461.06. In accordance with the City’s Financing Agreement with Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), the City purchases the right-of-way for the project and requests reimbursement from ODOT for 80 percent of the cost. The City’s share of the Parcel 17 relocation costs is $6,922.21, and ODOT’s share is $24,541,85.
Funding is from 2014 Streets GO Bond.
