Background:

Since 1982, the City has been a member of the Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group (OMAG),  a provider of General Liability, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Property and Risk Management services for Oklahoma cities and towns. It is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees nominated and elected by its members. The terms of three trustees expire on June 30, 2026. Seven individuals are nominated to fill the three vacancies.

After a review of nominees’ biographical summaries, staff recommend that the ballot be cast for Justin Battles (Incumbent), Assistant City Manager, Mustang; Tim Lyon (Incumbent), City Manager, Midwest City; and Pam Polk (Incumbent), City Manager, Durant.
