Consideration, discussion, and possible approval of a Professional Services Agreement with Garver, LLC for the Feasibility Study of a Supplemental Connection with the City of Bixby (Project No. WL23100)

Background:
The Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (BAMA) and the City of Bixby have agreed upon a Feasibility Study of a supplemental connection to determine if the potential connection would be beneficial to both entities. The feasibility study would include hydraulic modeling of one or two potential connections between the entities with assumptions for different flow scenarios. BAMA and City of Bixby will receive Conceptual Layouts of the connections with cost estimates, standard operating procedures for both entities, and a Technical Memorandum of the Supplemental Connection Study.
A price was negotiated with Garver, LLC for $90,000.00. The cost of the water model contract amount of $80,000.00, which will be shared between BAMA (50%) and the City of Bixby (50%), the City of Bixby will pay an additional $10,000.00 to update their water model. In total, BAMA will be responsible for $40,000.00 and City of Bixby will be responsible for $50,000.00. After the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority’s approval, the contract will be approved by the City of Bixby at the following City of Bixby Council Meeting for their share of the work.
