Approval of and authorization to execute Budget Amendment Number 10 for Fiscal Year 2024

Background:
The Municipal Budget Act adopted by the City Council allows the City to amend the budget at any time during the year for necessary expenditures incurred that exceed the original budget or when circumstances warrant the action.
Budget Amendment Number 10 is to provide funding for Fiscal Year 2023 projects that were either expected to be expended or encumbered in Fiscal Year 2023 or to be included as a carryover in the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget but inadvertently were not. Budget Amendment 10 appropriates a portion of fund balance from Sales Tax Capital Improvements (STCI) and Parks & Recreation Capital to provide funding for the projects.
Cost: $200,000.00 STCI; $593,645 Park & Rec Capital
