Background:
The attached General Warranty Deed is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from Robin Havens, the owner. Parcel 6.0 consists of 0.10 Acres of permanent Right-of-Way generally located near the Northwest Corner of 9th Street and Washington Street in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 18 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma. Robin Havens has accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:
Permanent Right of Way: 4,169 SQUARE FEET @ $3.28/SF = $13,674.32
Perpetual Drainage Easement: 1,460 SQUARE FEET @ $3.28/SF x 75% = $3,591.60
Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $17,270.00
A copy of the signed acceptance of the City's offer is attached, as is the General Warranty Deed. Payment of the compensation amount is on the May 20, 2025 City Council Claims List.
