                     Approval of and authorization to execute a Promotional License Agreement between the City of Broken Arrow and the Broken Arrow Arts Council for the Chalk It Up! event

Background:

The Broken Arrow Arts Council and the City of Broken Arrow will be hosting the annual Chalk It Up! event scheduled for September 25 and 26, 2015.  This event has been designated as a longstanding event.  At the Special Events Committee Meeting of August 28, 2015, the Committee gave its final approval of the site plan and application for this event. 

City Staff is requesting review and approval of the Promotional License Agreement.  In addition to setting forth the terms of use of City property, this Agreement provides for funding in an amount not to exceed $8,000.00.  These funds will be used for services related to music, portable bathroom facilities, sounds, road closure, security, stage and barricades for the event.

Cost:                                                                Approximately $8,000.00
