Approval of and authorization to execute a Clinical Affiliation Agreement between Heartland Education Inc and the City of Broken Arrow

Background:
The City of Broken Arrow has clinical affiliation agreements with multiple EMS Education Programs in the area.
Heartland Education Inc is requesting to be an affiliated partner. This agreement provides the school with a required field training setting for both EMT and Paramedic programs. The agreement provides the opportunity for students to perform clinical rotations on ambulances with Fire Department personnel.
This agreement is beneficial to the City of Broken Arrow as well by providing our agency an opportunity for recruitment of outstanding Heartland Education Inc EMT and Paramedic students as they gain field experience.
