Approval of and authorization to purchase Camera Video Detection and Accessories for four (4) intersections from Iteris, a sole source vendor

Background:
The Signal Division of the Streets and Stormwater Department has budgeted for the purchase of Camera Video Detection for four (4) intersections. Funds for this purchase are available in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund in the amount of $156,000.00 (Project No. TS25010, TS25030, TS25040 and TS25050)
A sole source quote has been received from Iteris, Inc for the camera video detection and hardware.
Staff recommends that the Council award the responsible quote to Iteris, Inc, for the purchase of cameras and equipment for (4) intersection. The intersection are located at Highway 51 and Creek Turnpike (east & west entrances) and E Kenosha St and Creek Turnpike (east and west entrances) .
Cost: $65,910.40
Funding Source: Sales Tax Capital Improvement (STCI)
