Background:
The Rose District Farmers Market Water Feature is an approximately 1200-square-foot recirculating water feature located along the east boundary of the Farmers Market in the Rose District, 418 South Main Street. The finished surface of the water feature will be granite pavers supported by a pedestal system over a concrete basin. Site work consists of concrete and brick paving, masonry walls, lighting, and relocation of utilities. The construction contract was advertised for bids on February 23 and bids were opened on March 24, 2016. Two (2) bids were received. The awarded low bid was submitted by Magnum Construction, Inc., in the amount of $1,322,541.00, including the allowances for the three procurement contracts.

This Change Order #5 addresses the following additions to the contract:

1. Total Number of Days Added by this Change Order:
- Proposal Request #10-14; Work within this CO will not affect the contract time.

2. Proposal Request #10: Provide and install electrical contractors to pump skid per COBA direction to enable emergency shutdown of show pumps only and keep remainder of system operational. Work performed previously under COBA direction during construction.
Cost $5,036.00
3. Proposal Request #11: Provide and install electrical surge suppressor at Interactive Water Feature electrical service panel. Directive to resolve power surge problems reported by Parks Department during operation.
Cost $4,137.00
