Presentation of street closure required near North Elm Place and West Stone Wood Drive

Background:
Explorer Pipeline has a transcontinental pipeline placed in a dedicated pipeline easement which crosses North Elm Place just on south side of the intersection at West Stone Wood Drive. Federal law requires a section of pipeline located under the road to be exposed and inspected within 90 days of possible localized anomaly detected. Any repairs required will be performed while pipeline is exposed. Roadway will put back in place per City of Broken Arrow Construction Standards once inspections/repairs have been accomplished.
This will result in closure of south bound traffic on North Elm Place for roughly one week. Traffic shall utilize alternate routes or a marked detour taking southbound traffic west to West Southwest Expressway Drive where they will follow roadway south and east to be reconnected to North Elm Place at West Queens Circle during this time.
