Background:
In alignment with the budgetary allocation in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement (STCI) budget, funds have been approved for the acquisition of a new SUV for the Human Resources Department, identified under Project Number 2511010.
To optimize Broken Arrow’s resources and capitalize on cost efficiencies, Maintenance Services Department recommends the purchase of the new Ford Explorer SUV be executed under the Oklahoma statewide Contract number SW035. This contract facilitates municipal agencies across the State of Oklahoma to procure vehicles at the state contract price, offering a substantial cost advantage. The utilization of the State of Oklahoma Contract SW035 ensures compliance with budgetary constraints while securing a high-quality asset for the Human Resources Department.
Following a thorough evaluation of available options, the Maintenance Services Department recommends the approval and award to Vance Country Ford.
