Background:
As has been our recent practice, the City of Broken Arrow is granting a street closure for Broken Arrow Public Schools to hold its high school graduation on May 14, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Stadium, 1901 East Albany Street. While the football stadium can hold approximately 10,000 guests, the event is expected to draw between 10,000 to 12,000 people.
Additionally, the campus has less than 2,000 parking spaces. Furthermore, it only has three entry and exit drives. As was the case in 2022, the school can use the Vanguard STEM Academy facility for additional parking.

To help mitigate these challenges, the Broken Arrow Public Schools is seeking approval to close 23rd Street (County Line Road) just north of the Quail Hollow Apartments entrance (2607 East Albany Street) to the south side of Albany Street (61st Street) intersection from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This allows Broken Arrow Public Schools to run shuttle service to and from the parking areas to a restricted access location immediately adjacent to the east side of the stadium.
