Background:

The attached General Warranty Deed is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from Jose Avelar Lara and Francisca Velazquez, the owners, Parcel 5.0 consists of 7,751 square feet of permanent Right-of-Way, located at 20951 South 49th Street in Broken Arrow, in the Southwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 19 North, Range 15 East, Wagoner County, State of Oklahoma. Jose Avelar Lara and Francisca Velazquez have accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:

Permanent Right of Way: 0.18 Acres @ $72,000/Acre = $12,960

Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $12,960

 

A copy of the signed acceptance of the City’s offer is attached, as is the General Warranty Deed.

Payment of the compensation amount is on the September 16, 2025 City Council Claims List.
