Background:
The Purchasing Division solicited bid# 26.167 for the purchase of Asphalt Sealer and 4070 Silica Sand for use by the City's Street & Stormwater Division. The bid will provide materials used to preserve and extend the life of asphalt pavement through routine pavement maintenance operations.
The invitation to bid was advertised on the City of Broken Arrow website and in the Tulsa World. Bid packets were distributed to ten (10) vendors, with one (1) vendor submitting a responsive bid.
The solicitation required pricing for asphalt sealer by the gallon, 4070 silica sand by the 50-pound bag, and any applicable delivery charges.
