Background:
Two years ago, we made the switch from Crawford & Associates to Arledge & Associates to prepare our financial statements due to a shortage in staff at Crawford & Associates. The first year that Arledge prepared our financials they were late in preparing our statements. Before we engaged them for last fiscal year (FY25), I informed Jake Winkler (partner) that I expected that our financial statement would be completed no later than February 28, 2026, or we would engage in another firm. Arledge & Associates made this deadline. Therefore, staff is proposing to engage Arledge & Associates for FY 26.
Fee Schedule
Prepare the Comprehensive Financial Statements- this will be billed at an hourly rate not to exceed $63,000
Audit the financial statements according to the accounting standards and presented fairly, in all material respects in conformity with GAAP. $75,000
Single audit- (grants) $7,000
Cost: $145,000
