Background:
The City of Broken Arrow is growing and expanding, and as such, there is a need to consider establishing a municipal general aviation airport within the community. With the proximity of the Tulsa Metropolitan area, a feasibility study for this type of infrastructure development is a key component to the process.
This feasibility study shall investigate the viability, practicality, and possibility of having an airport by reviewing historical aviation data, FAA requirements, market demand, preliminary development plan, and financial plan. This feasibility study is the first step in a potential long development process to help City Council determine if an airport is in the best interest of this community.
An agreement has been negotiated with Garver LLC to investigate, review, and prepare a report on a municipal general aviation airport to Broken Arrow. The agreement is for $ 150,000.00
