End
Background:
The attached use agreement grants a non-exclusive license to allow R.C. Dickenson Family YMCA of Greater Tulsa (YMCA) to use the Family Aquatic Center and associated facilities (Premises) located at 1400 South Main Street in Broken Arrow for evening swim lessons. The goal of this contract is to increase programming and usage of the Family Aquatic Center for the benefit of the public, YMCA members, and the City of Broken Arrow.
Highlights of the contract include:
* YMCA agrees to hire all staff to operate a swim lesson program, including current certified swim instructors and or current certified professional rescuers.
* YMCA agrees to all phases of operating a swim lesson program, including but not limited to patron registration, complaint resolution, and advertising.
* YMCA will charge a flat fee of $40 for all patrons participating in the swim lessons.
* City will be responsible to supply one certified lifeguard to monitor pool usage and to close the facility after the program. Estimated cost is $10.39 per hour for 80 total hours which equals $831.20 for the swim lesson season.
* YMCA will retain all program fees to help offset the operating cost of the swim lesson program.
* YMCA will not be charged a user fee for programming at Premises.
* This will be the second year that the YMCA has operated swim lessons at this location.
This Use Agreement will commence on June 1, 2016 and end on August 5, 2016.
