Approval of and authorization to purchase an additional Fairway mower as bid under the Oklahoma statewide vehicle contract for the Battle Creek Golf Club from Professional Turf Products

Background:
The Parks Department has budgeted for the purchase of an additional fairway mower for the Battle Creek Golf Club. This mower will be purchased under the Oklahoma Statewide Contract for mowers and hand held equipment SW 190. All State Departments, Boards, Commissions, Agencies and Institutions, as well as Counties, School Districts and Municipalities may purchase vehicles from this contract. Pricing under this contract is good until February 22, 2016.
The bid tabulation includes all vendors submitting bids for this type of mower under this contract. The Parks Department recommends the state bid from Professional Turf Products for a Toro Reelmaster 3550-D Ultralight Fairway mower as the most advantageous bid. The price for the mower, with options calculated in $43,152.41. Base pricing and selected options are reflected in the attached bid tabulation. Funds for this purchase are available in the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund in the amount of $43,200.00.
