Approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Services Agreement between Kleinfelder, Inc. and the City of Broken Arrow, for Wetland and Stream Mitigation of the 37th Street Regional Detention Areas

Background:
The City of Broken Arrow with the 2011 and 2014 G.O. Bond dedicated funding towards wetland and stream mitigation planning and permit of a regional stormwater detention facility in the Adams Creek watershed on the upstream side of the future 37th Street public roadway between Albany Street and Omaha Street. Kleinfelder, Inc. was selected by the City to provide services that include wetland mitigation planning and Section 404 permitting with the US Army Cop of Engineers for the proposed regional detention facility. The total authorized funding for the project is $720,000.00. The negotiated amount of the agreement is $26,900.00. The Agreement for Professional Consultant Services with Kleinfelder, Inc. is attached.
Staff recommends approval of the Agreement for Professional Consultant Services with Kleinfelder, Inc.
Funding for the design will be from the 2011 and 2014 G.O. Bond sales.
Cost: $26,900.00
